Meet our Welfare Officers

Nikki Woodworth

Falcon’s Welfare Officer

I have been a member of Falcon SA Gymnastics Club since 1985, first as a competing gymnast and then for the last 30 years, as a qualified coach. I have also been the clubs nominated welfare officer since 2001.

As my day job, I am a Primary School teacher. I love to see the children learn and grow each day and have been fortunate to be able to pass on my gymnastics expertise through the PE curriculum.

If you would like to contact me in my role as Welfare Officer please call or email.

Mel Hale

Parent Welfare Officer

Hello,

My name is Mel and I would like to introduce myself as one of Falcon’s Welfare Officers. I have been involved with Falcon since my daughter started gymnastics in 2014. I work at a Primary School in Bedford supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. I am also proud to be a member of the school’s core Mental Health and Wellbeing team. When I’m not working in school, I help Falcon with administration and so it might be me you’ve received communication from. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning and a Children and Young Peoples Mental Health Awareness Diploma (distinction). As well as attending regular Safeguarding and Child Protection training, I have also completed specific Welfare Officer Training.

If you have any concerns at all particularly about child welfare or protection, or wish to raise any issue then please do not hesitate to contact me either by email or by phone.
