SUE BIRCHALL

Falcon Gymnastics Club’s Head Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 4 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics and Pre-School gymnastics. Sue has been coaching gymnastics since 1981 and has produced County, Regional and National champions. Sue is a Regional Judge and an Ex-British Schools Champion. In 2002 Sue was awarded the Bedford Borough Council’s Sports Coach of the Year.

NIKKI WOODWORTH

Falcon’s Senior Pairs & Groups Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 4 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics and Pre-School. Nikki is an ex County and Regional Champion and has been coaching gymnastics since 1985. Her expertise and dedication spreads across all levels of gymnastics, from Pre-school through to our elite squads. Nikki is Falcon's Welfare and accredited Child Protection Officer.

DEN MCCAFFREY

Falcon’s Senior Tumbling Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 3 Coach in  Acrobatic Gymnastics. Den has coached at Falcon for 24 years. His enthusiasm and drive has enabled Falcon's tumblers to reach their full potential, producing Regional and National tumbling champions.

GRAHAM CROUCH

Falcon’s Tumbling and Squad Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 3 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Coaching at Falcon for 12 years. His dedication to Falcon has made his a valued member of the coaching team.

CARL DENHAM

Falcon's Elite Squad Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 4 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Carl is 22 and has been coaching for 8 years.  Carl and his partner Sophie Johnson became International One National Champions in 2010.  Carl has since retired from competitive gymnastics and now coaches Falcon's elite squad.  His huge wealth of knowledge together with his dedication and enthusiasm has enabled the elite squad to have an exceptional 2011 winning at County and Regional competitions and ultimately having national Mixed pair Champions. In 2011 Carl was awarded the Bedford Borough Council’s Sports Coach of the Year.

LIAM ROSS

Falcon's General Club Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 4 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics.  Liam is 22 years and has been coaching for 7 years as well as still competing for the club.  Liam is currently National Champion in grade 4 Mixed pairs with his partner Charlotte Gregory. He has also achieved success in Men's Groups - Becoming Grade 3 Men's Group National Champions in 2007 & 2008.   In 2011 Liam and Charlotte got silver medals at International One at the British Tournament. Liam runs our very successful Development squad at Etonbury passing on his huge experience and technical knowhow.

CARLY CAIN

Falcon's administration officer. British Gymnastics qualified Level 2 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Carly is 21 years old and has been coaching for 7 years.  She runs recreational sessions for the club and also takes her expertise into local schools, teaching lunch time and after-school classes.  Carly is the club's choreographer assisting the competition squad in routine construction and display pieces.

EMILY BROUGHTON

British Gymnastics qualified Level 1 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Emily is a General Squad Coach and Competition Squad Choreogropher.

LISA BOWKETT

Falcon’s General Club Assistant Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Women's Artistic Assistant Coach. Working towards Level 2 Coach for Women's Artistic gymnastics. Lisa is 21 years old. She was a gymnast herself for 8 years and has been coaching for 3 years.  Lisa assists at Falcon's recreational sessions and with competition squad training.

ALICE THOMAS

Falcon's General Club Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Level 2 Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Alice runs recreational sessions for the club as well as after-school sessions.  Alice is a very accomplished gymnast in both pairs and groups.  She is 2010 Regional champion with her partner Charlotte Burgoyne.  They have since joined with Natalie Jarvis and in their first competition together became 2011 Regional Champions.

STEPH CROUCH

Falcon’s General Club Coach. British Gymnastics qualified Club Coach in Acrobatic Gymnastics. Steph was National Champion 2001. She is also a Regional Judge.

YVONNE GREGORY

Yvonne is Falcon's parent representative Welfare and accredited Child Protection Officer.  Yvonne has recently qualified as a Regional Judge and assists with our younger members.
